Andean Parliament Considers Charter of Universal Responsibilities for the Rio+20 Summit

The Charter process on the way to Rio+20 is reaching top official representatives. Here is one example in South America.

On February 29, 2012 in the building of the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, our colleague Ricardo Jiménez met with Alberto Adrianzén, Vice President of the Andean Parliament, and presented our Call on governments and the draft of a Charter of Universal Responsibilities, with a view to Rio+20. Of the many initiatives that have sought support from Andean Parliament, the Charter initiative is now one of the few that has been presented and is under consideration.

The Andean Parliament is the deliberative body of the integration process of Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Colombia. Alberto Adrianzén will be its representative at the Río+20 Summit.
